Brand selection in Azerbaijan


      The competition between Samsung and Apple is carefully tracked by consumers all over the world. Every year consumers post products reviews on their blogs and make test video clips about their experiments/tests, etc.

      In fact, too many new brands and models are launched, even though their parameters and functions are approximately the same. However, market leadership remains unchanged. The real sales indicators show that Apple and Samsung are still leading. These two brands together captured more than half of market.

      What are the preferences of the consumers in Azerbaijan market? What brands do they prefer?

      To put the numbers into perspective, as per ERA's TGI data (exclusive internationally licensed research model TGI - Target Group Index) from January 2016, Samsung had 40.4% share of the Azerbaijan market, and Apple had 14.6% market share. The results of TGI project for 2016 1st Wave are depicted below:
